The Treat Box Philly: Special Mention

I have never been so inclined to create a “special mention” blog post in any of the cities or food spots I have traveled to before…Usually, I would only write about spaces I have collaborated with. However, I believe that there is one space, Treat Box Philly, that deserves not only a special mention on my blog, but also a special spot in my heart (*tears up while writing)

We ended up venturing into the Treat Box 4/5 days of our trip. Not only was it across the street from our bed and breakfast, but it was also a warm and welcoming space we wanted to spend hours at.

Each morning we got hot chocolate, iced coffee, or hot coffee, sat and watched the city while having short conversations with the sweetest young lady who was working everyday that week. I would be lying if I said we didn’t go there every day excited to chat with her before blogging with other spots and going on with our days. This was the building block of our trip and a spot I’ll hold in my heart+ visit each and every time I go to Philly…

I truly recommend visiting the Treat Box if you travel out to this city. Not only are the items served tasty, but the welcoming feel of this cafe is something you wouldn’t want to miss. I have never had such amazing service by such a nice employee. I want to thank our new friend who took time out of her day to make us feel welcomed to the cafe and to Philly…
